Das Liebesmahl der Apostel, Eine biblische Szene (The Love-Meal of the Apostles, a biblic scene), WWV 69, is a work for orchestra and male chorus composed by Richard Wagner in 1843. It was premiered that same year, and first published in 1845, dedicated to Charlotte Emilie Weinling. The premiere was performed by a massive orchestra of around 100 musicians and 1200 singers, and though the piece was well received, Wagner was reportedly dissapointed by its 'feeble' effect considering the vast assembly of singers. Das Liebesmahl der Apostel is rarely performed today.
