Frédéric Chopin wrote his Albumleaf (Albumblatt) in E major in 1843, though the work was never published during his lifetime. As it doesn't have an opus number, it is usually referred to by its Brown catalogue number, B. 151. Like many of his lesser works, it was published posthumously, contrary to his wish that all his unpublished manuscripts be burned.
