Prelude and Fugue no. 16, BWV 861, from 'Das wohltemperierte Klavier I'

The prelude (number 16 from the first book of the Well Tempered Clavier) is based on a trill that recurs several times, even competing with the main melodic idea. The fugue features a close entrance of each voice.
