Flute Sonata in C, BWV 1033

The Sonata in C major for flute or recorder and basso continuo, usually catalogued as BWV 1033 is a work in 4 movements, the last two of which are a couple of minuets sometimes presented ad separate movements. The work is usually attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach, though the true authorship is questioned and some scholars hold Carl Philpp Emmanuel as the rightful author. The work was written around 1736 and published more than a hundred years later, in 1867.
