Chadwick Symphonic Sketches

George Whitefield Chadwick wrote his Symphonic Sketches from 1895 to 1904. These are a series of orchestral pieces, with each movement musically depicting a particular image (from a selection of album photos, drawings, vignettes, etc.) The overall style of the piece is largely inspired by Chadwick's experience with the Frank Duveneck and his group of artists 'the Duveneck Boys'.
