Alles, was ihr tut mir Worten oder Werken, BuxWV 4 was probably written around 1668. In this cantata, most likely composed for the use on the 5th Sunday after Epiphany, Buxtehude combines a number of musical forms, as well as texts from different sources. The work includes fragments of the Bible, poetry, and portions of a Lutheran chorale text. A typical performance last arounds 13 minutes.
