Andante favori, WoO 57

Ludwig van Beethoven wrote his Andante Favori por piano solo between 1803 and 1804, and published in 1805. Originally intended as a second movement for the Sonata no. 21 in C major, 'Waldstein', the Andante Favori was cut out of the composition because of its length, and published as a separate piece. As it doesn't have a proper Opus number, it is usually designated as WoO 57 in catalogues of Beethoven's work.
