Scott Lotus Land, Op. 47 no. 1

Lotus Land is a piece for solo piano written by Cyril Scott, and published in 1905 by Elkin & Co. The piece, published as Op. 47 no. 1, was dedicated to Henry Hadley, and it was built around an exotic-flavored melody over a bass-and-chord structure, with an overall tone reminiscent of Satie. It became one of Scott's most performed pieces.
