Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16

This work, written in 1868, is among Grieg's earliest important works. Scored for piano, woodwinds in 2s, four horns, two trumpets, three trombones, timpani, and strings, it features three movements. It is often compared to Schumman's concerto, being in the same key and displaying similar features.
