Alfred Cottin was a French guitarist. He studied classical guitar with Jacques Bosch. He also composed thirty pieces of music, including the "Ballade du Fou" for three guitars and "Balalayka". Friend of Francisco Tarrega, he organized concerts this year in Paris. As a token of gratitude and affection, the Spanish musician dedicated his famous score of Recuerdos de la Alhambra, which carries the dedication: "Tribute to the eminent artist Alfred Cottin."
