YouTube's (and everyone else's) content recognition algorithms are incapable of discriminating between copyrighted and copyright-free recordings of most classical works because they sound too similar. This is an issue with YouTube (and other streaming websites), and with the major labels who have submitted their classical music catalogues for ContentID, not with Musopen.
