Bach 15 inventions, BWV 772-786

Les quinze inventions de JS Bach, BWV 772-786, sont des compositions contrapuntiques en deux parties, écrites à l'origine comme exercices d'éducation musicale. Bach a écrit qu'en étudiant ces pièces, les claviéristes apprendraient à jouer proprement en deux et trois parties, atteindraient un style cantabile et acquerraient un fort avant-goût de la composition.
