Banjo

Banjo Partituras

The banjo is a string instrument that employs four or five (rarely six) strings, with a thin membrane stretched over its circular body, acting as a resonator. Said membrane can be either made of plastic or animal skin. The banjo derives from old African instruments, and has always been attached to African-American traditional music. Nowadays it is commonly associated with bluegrass, country, and folk music.
