Wilhelm Breitengraser was a German composer. He studied at Leipzig University and became headmaster of the Lateinschule in Nuremberg (c 1520). He was one of the most popular of the more conservative German composers of his generation; more than 50 of his wide-ranging compositions survive, many in collections.
