Victor Vreuls was a violinist, conductor and belgian composer. Victor Vreuls studied at the conservatory of Verviers, then he entered to the Conservatory of Liège where he was a pupil of Jean-Théodore Radoux (counterpoint and fugue) and Sylvain Dupuis (harmony). Then he took private lessons from Vincent d'Indy in Paris.
