Richard Wickenhausser he was the pupil of O. Kitzler, and at he Leipzig Conservatory of Jadasohn and Paul. He won a state stipend in 1894 (awarded by Brahms and Hanslick). He became in 1895 the conductor of the "Deustch-Akademischer Gesangveerin" in Brünn.
