Bartolomeo Monari di Bologna was an Italian composer. He became maestro di cappella of S Giovanni in Monte, Bologna, in ?1679, and later assistant organist of S Petronio. He wrote vocal and organ music. Clemente Monari (c 1660-c 1729), probably his brother, cathedral maestro di cappella at Reggio Emilia and Forlì, composed operas and oratorios.
