Marietta Brambilla was the first of five sisters, all of them singers. From 1821 to August 1826 she studied in the Milano conservatory with master Secchi. Her debut was in 1827 in His Majesty's Theatre of London in Rossini's Semiramide (ruolo di Arsace)
