Maia Bang was a violinist. She studied violin with Gudbrand Bohn in Norway, 1897 graduated from Leipzig Conservatory, studied with Henri Marteau in Geneva Switzerland, with Leopold Auer in St Petersburg Russia, 1900 debuted in Oslo where she founded a music school, 1919 she emigrated to the USA.
