Lewis Meadows White was an english composer an organist. White’s father was L. B. White, Vicar of St. Mary Aldermary in London. Meadows was ordained an Anglican priest in 1844, and served as Curate of Cromer. In 1934, he became honorary canon of Norwich Cathedral. He was a gifted organist, and gave frequent recitals.
