Hermann Zopff

Hermann Zopff was a German musicologist and composer. He first studied Agriculture and earned his PhD in Berlin and Breslau. In 1850, when he was 24-years-old, he went to Berlin and became a private student of Adolf Bernhard Marx. At the Stern Conservatory, he took piano lessons at Kullak. He founded an opera academy and composed music for a series of theatrical works.
