Georges Franck

Born: 1690

Died: 1760

Birthplace: Munster (Haut-Rhin) en Alsace, France

Dom George Franck was a French compsoer. He was a Benedictine monk of the Abbey of Munster (Haut-Rhin) and parish priest of St-Grégoire Munster valley in Alsace. All that is known about him comes from the cover of the book of sonatas published in 1740, as well as occasional references of organ, instrument of which he appears to have been an expert.
