Frans Louis Wiemans, born January 13, 1889 in Batavia (now Jakarta) in Indonesia and died in 1935 in his native country, is a composer, pianist, organist, violinist and Indonesian engineer. Born into a musical family in Indonesia (then a Dutch colony) it receives from the age of five piano lessons from her aunt. It will also take violin lessons afterwards. Despite the exceptional provisions he showed for music, his father forced him to conduct studies in Delft University of Technology. After graduation Wiemans began a career as a construction engineer in Indonesia. Continuing to practice the piano the same time he performs regularly at various recitals.
